Citrus Scraps: a free WordPress theme that’s SEO-friendlyWith all the recent interest in search engine friendly WordPress themes, I thought it was high time that Blogging Expertise released some high quality themes. There are many more to come, but this is the first in the lineup. It’s a basic two-column, widget-ready theme that pays particular attention to search engine optimization. It supports a bunch of plugins (but will work just fine if you don’t have them):
- Related Posts 404
- Clean Archives
- MyAvatars
- SEO Title Tag
- WP-Print
You’ll probably want to update the header image, and that’s pretty straightforward:
- Create an image of your own that’s 95 pixels tall. It can be up to 780 pixels wide. This will be used to replace the words “Citrus Scraps” but not the tagline, so keep that in mind.
- Save the image in the theme’s “images” folder with the name “blog-name.png”.
- That’s it. 🙂
With a little CSS knowledge, you can also modify the colors if you like (though it would be a terrible crime against the color orange).
