Working with Blogging Expertise

Every project is different, but most follow a sort of pattern. Here is some of the nitty-gritty info most people like to know before they start.

The Process

The first step is to contact us. This is a totally “no obligation” thing. We understand that you might just be tire-kicking, or feeling out different blog professionals, and that’s fine. This is where you get to ask us questions and decide if we might be a good fit.

If you decide to go with us, we’ll start asking you questions. At this point, we’re getting a good understanding of what you need (or helping you decide). Once we have a clear picture, we’ll start talking about what it will take to get you there. At this point we’ll discuss timing, cost (a quick overview is found below), and what sort of updates you can expect from us.

If you are ready to move forward, we get down to work. This is pretty much just us doing what we said we would. You’ll get regular updates and a chance to test things out and request changes. When everyone is happy, we call it good.

The Money

Everyone wants to know this going in, so we’ve written up a frank discussion about pricing. It will give you an idea of what to expect even before you contact us.

Here’s how billing works: we typically request one-half of the estimated cost (for hourly work) or the quote (for per-project work) up front. Hourly work is thereafter billed monthly. The remainder for per-project work is billed upon completion. This is all negotiable to fit your needs, but does need to be agreed upon before work starts.
