Help shape the future of Blogging Expertise

This blog recently received a thoughtful review over at Arcane Rain, and it got me thinking about the kind of information I talk about here. What I really wonder about is whether it’s the kind of information that you’re interested in. :)

I originally intended this site to be read by consultants, authors, coaches, and other “experts” who were considering blogging as a way to share their expertise and get new business. I believe that many of my readers do fall into just that category, but it also seems clear that there are other interests represented as well.

I’ve been running a poll on my personal finance blog to help determine the direction of the blog posts I write, and I’ve received a lot of insight already, so it made sense to do the same here. The results will (hopefully) clarify what will be most useful to you, and future blog posts will reflect that.

Feel free to check as many boxes as you are particularly interested in. Thanks in advance for taking the time to vote!

I’d also recommend recruiting some guest bloggers. Peggy Jordan at Working Words would be an excellent person to write about writing (no pun intended).

That’s a great point, Justin, and your recommendation of Peggy is right on target. I’ll approach her about it soon.

How about, “How to get more blog readers through search engine optimization technology explained in everyday Englsh”?

:) Well, I guess that’s the point of several of my popular posts (at least indirectly) so not quite as absurd as it sounds, but still, I like the way you put it.
