Do you want to make a full-time income with blogging?

Here’s another opportunity that might be useful to you. It won’t be ideal for all of you, but if you’re interested in turning blogging into a full-time income of its own (but without working full time!), you’ll probably find Yaro Starak’s new Blog Mastermind system very interesting.

I’ve been reading Yaro’s blog and newsletter for a while now, and find them extremely valuable. He often brings out points I wouldn’t have thought of, and I’ve learned many simple-but-powerful strategies for everything from launching a blog fast to developing streams of income from blogs. You can get a taste of his info in the great free “Blog Profits Blueprint” ebook he recently produced.

He describes Blog Mastermind as “a step-by-step system for generating $1,000-$5,000 per month from only blogging 1-2 hours a day.” Sounds good to me; how about you?

The program is subscription-based, priced at $77/month (though there’s an early bird discount that takes it down to $47/month for the life of your subscription, if you sign up on or before June 28), which might be a little high for some bloggers, but seems more than reasonable if the system works as promised. I think it sounds like a good deal, so I’ve signed up for his affiliate program, too (so those links are affiliate links… if you don’t to make me a commission, just type in www.blogmastermind.com directly :) ).

I enrolled today and plan to spend two hours every day working on it to see what else he can teach me. One of the areas I know he covers that I’m excited to learn about is the area of buying and selling blogs and other sites. With my design and programming skills plus blog experience, “rehabbing” well-written-but-underdeveloped blogs might be right up my alley, but I don’t really know how to get started. Yaro says he’ll explain it all. :) We’ll see, but I hope he does.

Yaro currently has a blog that makes him between $4,000 and $6,000 per month and he only writes for his blog for an hour or two each day; clearly he’s on to something, and the idea of the Blog Mastermind offering is that his knowledge can be transfered.

Here’s what you get when you join the Blog Mastermind program (I pulled this from the marketing materials):

  1. Regular e-lessons delivered to your email inbox with simple, step-by-step instructions to create, launch, build and profit from your own successful blog from beginning to end.
  2. Yaro’s brand new, Master-The-Mindset 10-part audio series to teach you the necessary mindset you must have to really succeed at blogging. This audio series is over five hours long and covers critical topics such as the 80/20 Rule, creating a vision, dealing with technical problems, choosing a blog topic, how to write attention-grabbing pillar content, how to build communication channels for massive traffic, when and how to monetize your blog and dealing with information overload.
  3. Direct access to Yaro as your mentor through a special Members Only question and answer forum. This is like having an expert on call to ask how to make your blog better—and you can ask as many questions as you want!
  4. Access to audio and video blog case studies where Yaro reviews member blogs and helps students with directly applicable advice to improve real blogs.
  5. To submit your blog as a potential case study target and ask for Yaro’s advice on how to perform an “extreme makeover” on your blog.

Again, I don’t believe this program is for everyone. If you don’t have the time to spend on the program, then you’re not going to get good results, so you’re better off saving your money. Beyond that, not everyone wants to really dive into blogging, and that’s fine.

I’m sure I’ll have more to say as I spend time on the system (right now I’m cautiously recommending it based on how much I like Yaro’s other advice, but withholding all-out endorsement until I’ve tried it, obviously). However, if this sounds like something you’d be interested in, you should check out the sales page.

Yaro’s offering a 30-day money back guarantee, so if you’re serious about it, it’s probably worth signing up now to get the 40% off early bird price, and evaluating whether you want to continue right before the 30 days is up. (That’s my plan!)

Update: I’ve been brainstorming about this and have decided to offer a couple of “blogging internships” that will include the Blog Mastermind training. So if you’re interested in using the system for free, take a look at my idea.
