New free WordPress theme: Citrus Scraps (and yeah, it’s search engine friendly!)
With everyone looking for a good search engine optimized WordPress theme, I thought it was time for Blogging Expertise to release one. It’s out now, and you can read all about it on the Citrus Scraps theme page.
Thanks for this very attractive theme but unfortunately it doesn’t render correctly in Netscape. I’ve spent hours trying to figure out why but it’s beyond me. Probably something simple but what?

Hi, Andy—thanks for the heads up on that. I’m downloading Netscape now to see if I can pinpoint the problem (I routinely test on Firefox, IE 6 and 7, Safari, and Camino, using three different operating systems… it figures that it would break in the one I don’t test!
).

@Andy: quick follow-up questions… what operating system are you using and what is rendering incorrectly? If you don’t mind answering, that will help me track it down.

Wow, you do reply quickly
It’s just one of those annoying little things, the main area is wider than the header by about 10px. I’m running on XP SP2. After a few mods, I tested too in Firefox, IE, Opera - no problem. Just Netscape so I tested your demo and bingo, same problem.
Thanks for taking the time to look into this.

HI! I am LOVING the new theme. I already got a compliment on it! Two questions
:
1) Do I need to update code to make sure my blog title is tagged? I’m wondering due to the fact that my blog anme is par tof a graphic I put in place of Citrus Scrap png
2) is there a reason that my option to only have a certain number of lines show per post is being overridden?
Any help is appreciated!

Beautiful template, but for some reason it doesn’t look as good in ie6, I tested it with several computers, and got the same results. the sidebar drops down to the end of the page.
Thanks, Omer

@Sue:
1. The blog title is present in the code, even though it’s replaced on screen, so you shouldn’t need to do anything extra.
2. Are you using a plugin for this or the “more” feature in the editor? The “more” feature should work as expected, but these kind of plugins usually require a little bit of template code change.

@Omer: That sounds like something that happens when something one of the columns is too wide… but I thought I’d put in some code to prevent it. I’ll have to double-check.
Do you happen to have the offending page available publicly where I can look at it?

I even checked your demo page and its got the same glitch… mine is http://www.israelseen.com/blogs

Omer, that’s strange, I just checked your site in IE6 and Firefox, same perfect result in both.
I’m wondering if Micro$oft’s latest automatic updates haven’t changed the way IE interprets CSS. On several sites I’ve noticed proper results on updated IE and incorrect screens on versions where the updates have been blocked by a firewall.

here’s a screen shot, did you check it with ie6 or 7? 7 work fine.

OK, but I’m with IE6 and I’m not getting that. It does look like your header image might be too long or too padded, though.

To clarify, when I use IE6 on Windows XP, I’m seeing the issue on Omer’s blog and the theme demo, but not my test blog. I’ll have to do a little digging to find out what the issue is, but I’ll try to release an update for this problem and the one mentioned in the first comment at the same time.

Thank you Sarah, it would be wonderful if you could manage to solve it and I could use it for my blog, I tried and tried, but I’m just a beginner with CSS… nothing I did seemed to work. Though it always look great on other browsers.
