Anything that lets you have more time to do what you need to get done is good. Tim answered a few questions on my site, have a look!

Hi, Ravi—

I loved that question, too, and you completely captured the reason. The more I think about it, the more I dislike the idea of "putting off" life. Why wait?

Tim is a very interesting guy. I wasn't completely happy with my inability to "capture" him in this post, but he's so outside the realm of what most of our expectations that it's difficult to communicate.

I will say that he is the "stranger" who has most influence my husband and I over the last month. He's opened our eyes to the possibilities of life outside the box. :)

...and he posts videos of monkeys on his blog. What's not to love?!

“How would your life change if retirement wasn’t an option?”

I love this question. Helps to really get you to hone in on what is important. It just doesn't provoke someone to change what they are doing...it also challenges them to find meaning and joy in what they are doing right now.

I hadn't heard of Time before, I checked out his blog after reading your post and will definitely be checking out his book when it comes out. His blog is also pretty darn interesting.

Hope you didn't eliminate both of my blogs! If you did - that's OK. I understand.

When you originally posted this, I only scanned it. After you mentioned the author during the TVCNet meeting I was curious and reread it with more focus.

I'm excited for this book to come out. What you're talking about here is creating a work-life balance that fits you. As for your business, you are talking about "The Velvet Rope Policy" that you've probably heard me talk about or mention in my TVCNet blog. This is basically choosing to work with clients that energize and excite you. When you are energized and excited you are able to serve them in the best way possible.

An update: I've just finished paring down my feeds to 31. It just about killed me... but I know it's for the best (a.k.a. my sanity). Curious to see what made the cut? Check out Sarah’s OPML file for March 15, 2007.
